Alain will be making recitations at the first of The Burns Club of London’s ‘Gin a body, meet a body’; Scottish gin tasting experiences of the season. The admission price of £25 includes a delicious hot supper. What a bargain!

Also performing is Talented young singer and songwriter Jamie McGechan (the voice of The Robert Burns Birthplace Museum). He will approach the works of Burns from a contemporary point of view. As well as performing all over Scotland Jamie (aka Little Fire) has accepted several invitations to sing in USA, including two trips already this year.

Alain will once again be making recitations at the another of The Burns Club of London’s ‘Gin a body, meet a body’ evenings.

Also performing is Iona, a folksinger and finalist in BBC Radio Scotland’s Young Traditional Musician 2017, will present an evening of Scottish music including items from the rich musical heritage of her native Aberdeenshire. She will be joined by friends and fellow musicians Koshka Duff (piano) and Carol Anderson (fiddle). We have a tradition of providing a platform for young musicians who go on to achieve success in their profession and this event continues that pattern.
